Smaller Classes + Loving
Attention = Happy Children

Danny and Tami Box
Frisco, Texas
To the entire staff at TLC,
There are not enough words to express the gratitude Danny and I have for the employees at Trent Learning Center.
We moved to Frisco in 1998, when Nolyn was an infant. We found home care through our real estate agent, thinking this would be best for such a small child. After a few months passed, Nolyn became bored and it was time to find an alternative situation.
We struggled with the idea of daycare due to the concerns reported from the media. However, we decided to visit several in the area to see what kind of places were in Frisco. Trent Learning Center happened to be the first and last stop.
Danny and I were convinced on the first visit that TLC was a Christian atmosphere we wanted Nolyn to be around on a daily basis. The teachers showed compassion and a warm loving attitude towards the children.
I was very amazed how comfortable I felt leaving Nolyn the first day. In the first week, I had peace in my heart that Nolyn was in the perfect place. It was a big change, from checking on Nolyn (with the old babysitter) several times a day, to knowing in my heart he was in good hands.
There was a drastic difference in his attitude during that first week. In one week, we could see how he thirst for the knowledge they were providing him; singing songs, learning the alphabet, counting and coloring. His vocabulary multiplied during those first few weeks. Putting Nolyn in this structured and Christian program was one of the best decisions we have made.
When God blessed us with our second little boy, Dylan, there was no decision to make. He too was going to be enrolled at TLC. We wanted him to experience the same knowledge, structure and love as Nolyn.
Nolyn is now seven years old. We had a parent-teacher conference meeting last week. I am proud to say how wonderful it was to hear how Nolyn is advancing in his class. This is definitely a result of the structured programs and Kindergarten curriculum that was introduced to him at an early age.
I feel so blessed that God led us to Trent Learning Center and for the teachers that played a special part in his first years before elementary school. A mother could not ask for anything more.
Trent Learning Center is not just a center. This is one big family filled with love and affection for all of the children.
Thank you all for being a part of our family.
