Smaller Classes + Loving
Attention = Happy Children

ABOUT
Trent Learning Center opened in 1986 in the two-story shopping center on Stonebrook Parkway.
After 10 years in the shopping center we decided to purchase some land and build our own building. We moved into it in 1996.
After many years in business we decided to downsize our capacity to half. This created nice large classrooms. Our center is 8,000 sq ft with 8 classrooms.

Dr. Daryl Trent came to Frisco in 1979. At that time there was one elementary, one middle and one High School. Dr. Trent developed music programs in all the schools. He served as Frisco High School Band Director for 27 years and was the first Director of Fine Arts for Frisco ISD. He is currently retired. He began the Frisco Community Band and anyone is welcome to join.

Daryl Trent Middle School - Home of the Timberwolves.

Our Staff
CINDY HARRISON -
Full Time Director Employed at Trent Learning Center since June 1997. She is a mother and Grandmother. She began as a classroom teacher and has worked with all age groups. In October 2013 she was promoted to Director. Ms. Cindy is very experienced in all the aspects of the daily operation of a child care center. She is a hands on Director who has taught every class and performed every duty required to run an efficient center. Her office door is always open and she continually monitors all classrooms and anyone entering and leaving the center. Her office location enables her to hear what is going on in the center and she is continually in and out of the classrooms each day assisting teachers.
Ms. Cindy monitors each classroom daily thru the video and audio system located in her office. We consider this an invaluable aid and would not operate without it.

Our
Goal
Our goal is to establish a trust with each parent that we are providing a safe, happy, loving, and excellent learning environment for your child while you are away from them.
We understand it is very stressful for a parent to leave their child and go to work.
Our goal is to be a home away from home for your child. They are a precious gift from God and need lots of love and guidance.
Growing, learning, laughing, and making friends is their daily role in life. We are here to guide their path, and help them become ready for each important step and to enter Kindergarten well prepared with knowledge from our excellent pre-school program.
OUR TEACHERS -
We have teachers who have been employed at Trent Learning Center for many years. They have had numerous hours of education classes and are very experienced in caring for children. All teachers are trained in First Aid and CPR.
Ongoing training is provided for all teachers with an emphasis on the mental and emotional care of children as well as safety and curriculum teaching. They attend public training classes as well as private training classes on site.
Teachers who work as floaters also become experienced in more than one class in order to provide your child with consistent care in case of teacher absences.
Our teachers are cared for with respect and valued for their important role in the daily care and love given to your child.
